Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR) in Denver, CO. You will function as a member of the cardiac and main operating room teams, assisting surgeons and nurses during elective surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, sterilize and organize instruments and supplies, and support the surgical team to help ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current NBSTSA certification or equivalent from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Current DORA (Colorado) certification or eligibility as required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year current acute care CST experience in a hospital operating room setting.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with cases including orthopedics/spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology preferred.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically in CVOR cardiac surgical environments.
• Experience working with O.R. electronic medical record systems such as OREMR, Meditech, or CPNT.
• Flexible team-oriented personality and prior experience with elective surgical case flow.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 17:00.
• Shift days: Days.
• Call required with 30-minute response time.
• Main OR environment with elective cases, no trauma; approximate unit size includes 23 ORs and a multidisciplinary staff.
