Supervisor, Physician Practice - Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Concussion

Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the assigned department Supervises the day-to-day activities of non-physician staff Select, train, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for staff Oversee all functions of the medical group including reception and scheduling activities Maintain office policies and procedures in accordance with physician requirements Cover front and/or back office functions Functions autonomously to provide guidance for quality patient experiences Requirements Requires level of literacy, communication and math skills normally demonstrated at the level of an Associate’s Degree Required at least two years experience in a physician's office or medical environment Current certification as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or current LPN license may be required for certain assignments Excellent communication and organizational skills Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership in supervising non-physician staff and ensuring efficient operations within a medical environment.
