Note: Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and have at least 2 years of civil litigation defense experience. Experience with general liability, insurance defense, mass tort, construction defect, or employment defense litigation is highly preferred. Draft and respond to complaints, motions, pleadings, and written discovery. Take and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings. Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings when needed. Maintain strong communication with clients and colleagues. Work independently while collaborating with attorneys across practice groups. Handle case strategy and litigation responsibilities from inception through resolution. Meet billable requirements and contribute to a high‑performing team environment. Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing. JD from an ABA‑accredited law school. 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience. Experience managing multiple cases simultaneously. Deposition, motion practice, and discovery experience. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills. Trial and mediation experience are a plus. Experience with general liability, insurance defense, mass tort, construction defect, or employment defense is preferred.
