Butler Ford Automotive General Manager
Butler Ford is seeking an experienced, driven Automotive General Manager to lead our dealership and team. We are looking for a proven automotive leader who understands how to build a strong culture, develop people, drive performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The General Manager will oversee the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the dealership, working closely with department leaders to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction across all dealership departments
- Drive overall dealership sales, profitability, and performance
- Develop, coach, and support department managers and team members
- Establish clear goals and hold departments accountable for results
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement
- Promote a positive, professional, and results-driven workplace culture
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the dealership
- Oversee staffing, training, and employee development
- Work closely with ownership and senior leadership on dealership goals and initiatives
- Ensure dealership operations follow company policies, manufacturer standards, and applicable regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven automotive dealership management experience
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and financial performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams
- Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Results-driven with a strong focus on accountability
- Ability to balance sales performance, profitability, employee development, and customer experience
- Ford experience is a plus
