Food PackerAVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Food Packer. Early morning hours. Must work Wednesdays and Saturdays.Founded in 1960, AVI Foodsystems has evolved into one of the most respected and trusted food service companies in the nation. Providing comprehensive food services with a focus on the highest quality and freshest ingredients, impeccable service and total value is the reputation we have earned and live up to everyday.Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble and fill orders to be shippedReceive products coming into the warehouseVerify quantity and description of productsMaintain accurate physical inventoriesCommunicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)Lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 poundsMove, walk, bend, reach, and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food productsStock inventoryComply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security proceduresFollow all safety and security procedures without deviationRequirements:Must be able to lift 50 poundsAbility to effectively work independently and utilize time efficientlyFollow directives as assigned by managementAbility to work in a fast paced environmentBenefits:A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre-employment drug testing.
