Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting
• Knowledge of classroom management and instructional techniques
• Ability to follow teacher direction and district protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a supportive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and supervising students
• Support students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, math, and other activities
• Help maintain a positive and safe classroom atmosphere
• Provide assistance to students with special needs, following individualized plans as directed
• Supervise students in the classroom, during lunch, and at recess
• Prepare learning materials and help with classroom organization
• Foster an inclusive, respectful environment where all students can thrive
