RN Clinical Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates interpersonal skills and competency in leadership, supervision and management of staff.
- Collaborates the development and implementation of policies, systems and programs to guide assigned functions, activities and responsibilities.
- Handles day to day operations such as but not limited to payroll adjustments, schedule changes, following up on patient complaints and quality reviews.
- Assists nursing manager with implementation of new programs, employee evaluations and disciplinary issues.
- Evaluates and documents patient response; monitors and recognizes changes in physiological and psychosocial status; takes appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
- Practices, develops and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of the nursing process.
- Adheres to downtime procedures.
- Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Performs both essential and non-essential job functions in a safe manner as identified by Norwegian American Hospital.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and models the mission and core values of Norwegian American Hospital.
