Engineer II, Manufacturing & ProcessingThe Engineer II, Manufacturing/Processing Engineer position located in Dayton, OH will provide engineering and production support for Manufacturing Operations and New Product Development Teams to ensure new/improved and current medical products and processes are being produced in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by making restoration of peripheral nerve function an expected standard of care. We aim to lead the markets we serve by always requiring the solutions we offer patients and caregivers provide an improved benefit-to-risk profile as compared to existing standards of care. To ensure we deliver improved benefit-to-risk solutions, we will guide and expect the market and design requirement specifications underlying our engineering, business development, and clinical research activities, objectively target advancements in standards of care.The specific duties of the Engineer II, Manufacturing & Processing include but are not limited to:Supports Production on a day-to-day basis and ensures product is being released in a timely mannerReprioritizes tasks as the needs of the company changeProvides focused technical/engineer support to Operations on manufacturing projects with an emphasis on capacity analysis, yield improvements, cost reduction, validations, implementing processes associated with new products and process improvementsSupports and collaborates with Research and Development and Quality Management on new product launchesAnalyzes product and/or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine feasibility of new plant equipment, or modifying existing equipmentLeads continuous improvement projectsProvides expertise and technical communications on quality issuesProvides cross-functional project management support to other areas of the businessUtilizes root cause analysis methods and statistical tools to resolve processing issuesComplies with all company policies, procedures, and SOP'sThis position is eligible for an annual bonus.
