Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Every Other Weekend, Holidays per Unit Needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience
• Unencumbered NY RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• Identify patients' needs and provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of LPNs and other support nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records and prepare reports promptly.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients and staff, adhering to quality standards and infection control protocols.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Exhibit a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with patients and their families.
• Utilize organizational skills to manage supplies and equipment efficiently.
• Remain calm and professional during crisis and emergent situations.
• Proficiently navigate electronic records management systems.
