IT Operations Specialist

Expected compensation: 54.34 USD Per Hour HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an IT Operations Specialist to support the Technical Operations (TechOps) team within a real-time Fusion Center environment. In this role, you’ll help document, analyze, and improve the technical workflows that support live operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and create clear technical documentation that supports mission‑critical systems. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and an effective communicator with hands‑on technical experience and the ability to translate complex operational workflows into clear, actionable documentation. As An IT Operations Specialist, You'll Shadow and document live operational workflows, system dependencies, and technical interactions. Map technical processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks. Partner with Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve operational processes. Develop clear technical documentation, process maps, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Requirements Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Hands‑on experience in at least two of the following: Windows workstation support Real‑time operations or command center environments TCP/IP networking or systems administration Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting Mission‑critical operations supporting real‑time systems Ability to pass a background check to work within a secure facility Bonus Qualifications 7+ years of relevant technical experience Experience working in a NOC, SOC, Fusion Center, or other 24/7 operations environment Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms Experience collaborating with DevOps or infrastructure teams Benefits Pre‑tax commuter benefits Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service) Flexible Spending Account for healthcare‑related costs HireArt covers all costs for short‑ and long‑term disability and life insurance 401k package Commitment This is a full‑time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
