Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC)
• Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in managing diverse caseloads, including elementary and secondary populations
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy approaches

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with varying needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in alignment with school and regulatory requirements
• Offer consultation and training to staff as needed
• This contract runs from August 4th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, across two school locations, totaling 37.5 hours per week
