From its historic origins to its modern amenities and exquisite dining, the Inn continues to attract visitors with its charm, elegance, and unwavering dedication to excellence.The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible to provide administrative support for the Housekeeping department; including creating and designating work assignments, computer input, filing, tracing, answering telephones, printing reports, and maintaining departmental records/logs. All work performed is in accordance to standards and procedures of the housekeeping departmental as set forth by Forbes, AAA, Preferred Hotels and Chatham Bars Inn.Creating work assignments for Engineering, Room, House and Lobby Attendants through the KnowCross System, Dispatching guest requested itemsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards including the inspection of guest rooms.Administer equipment maintenance programs such as vehicle, vacuum, cell phone, crib and rollaway beds to ensure items are well maintained.Answer guest calls, anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and ensure follow upMaintain positive guest relations at all times.Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.Maintain knowledge of all guest room layouts, bed types, decor, appointments, amenities, locations, numbers/names.Update a current and updated room status report, communicating waitlisted items with the Front Office and Housekeeping SupervisorsMonitor and track status of out-of-order rooms; update accordingly.Administer Lost & Found, Keys and PhonesQualifications:Prioritize, Organize and Follow UpCan work well independently as well as in a team settingFollow direction thoroughlyUnderstand guest's service needsWork with Minimal SupervisionComputer Skills including Outlook, Excel, Internet ExplorerAble to meet deadlinesAble to lift up to 50 lbsBeing flexible and motivatedCompensation: $22.00 / hrPyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
