How you'll make an impact in this role

• Ensure optimal patient safety by reviewing medication orders, identifying drug-related risks, and recommending evidence-based solutions and formulary alternatives .
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams, providing expert drug information and counseling to facilitate integrated patient care and improve health outcomes .
• Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians, overseeing the preparation and maintenance of medications to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards .
• Prepare and dispense patient-specific medications with precision to guarantee accurate and timely care delivery .

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.

Education:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• IV Certification
• Hospital Experience
