Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality, with a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests. As a Server at Grounded In Charlotte, you will play an essential role in creating memorable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner. Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Take and accurately process food and drink orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages in a professional manner, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high food quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines. Upsell additional menu items, promotions, and special events to enhance the guest experience. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve service quality. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, with a willingness to learn. Cash handling experience and familiarity with POS systems.
