Restaurant Server

We are hiring AM and PM Shift Servers for our Forchetta Restaurant. The restaurant server is a primary point of contact for diners, responsible for ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience. Their duties include greeting guests, detailing menus, taking food and drink orders, delivering meals, processing payments, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Responsibilities: • Guest Services: Welcome customers, seat them, present menus, and offer recommendations. • Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately record food and beverage orders and promptly relay them to the kitchen and bar. • Quality Assurance: Check meals for accuracy, serve dishes, and continuously check in with guests to ensure satisfaction. • Cashier Operations: Handle cash and credit card transactions, split checks, and process payments. • Sanitation: Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset spaces for new guests. Qualifications: • Customer Service: A warm, friendly demeanor with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and daily specials. • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tables, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of stamina in a fast-paced environment. • Teamwork: Strong collaboration with kitchen staff, bussers, and fellow servers.
