CRE Loan Administrator II

Overview The Commercial Loan Administrator Senior is responsible for advanced understanding of commercial and construction loan processes and administers loan servicing for high‑profile customers with complex credit and construction loan structures. Responsibilities Work with Loan Closing Specialists, Relationship and Portfolio Managers to review construction due diligence, evaluate plans and cost reviews, identify and manage risk for new construction loans. Obtain and analyze construction documents such as inspection reports, waivers of lien, sworn statements, endorsement letters, and other items needed to determine appropriate amounts to be advanced. Exercise first‑line decision making and provide secondary approval for construction draws and multi‑million‑dollar transactions. Keep Relationship and Portfolio Managers abreast of material changes, risk, construction completion delays, increases to budget, interest reserve deficiencies and other customer activity. Evaluate and process customer requests for disbursements, interest payments, wire transfers, collateral releases, loan payoffs and interest reserve calculations within loan agreement terms and bank policy. Maintain accuracy of loan and customer information on the system of record, draw checklist, certifications and construction due diligence documents; update reporting as required. Proactively manage own workflow and provide secondary approval for construction draws, approving multi‑million‑dollar transactions and special handling of unique requirements. Develop relationships and collaborate with internal partners, customers, title companies, construction consultants and contractors. Act as team lead/manager, mentor, coach, train and provide day‑to‑day guidance to lesser‑experienced colleagues. Lead or participate in special projects; perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree • 5-7+ years of Commercial Banking experience Preferred Qualifications Confidence and professionalism with the ability to collaborate across all levels within the organization. Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other digital resources. Excellence in customer service, initiative‑taking, focus and goal orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor. Strong organizational skills with diligence, planning and follow‑up. Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality. Adaptability to change. Workplace and Compensation Workplace Type: Office. Compensation Range: $70,000.00 – $140,000.00 USD annual salary.
