We are truly Everywhereyoulook!The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment & Tooling: Ensure manufacturing equipment & tooling supports production & test requirementsImprove & maintain equipment uptime and utilizationSupport capital equipment selection, justification, and implementationProcess Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs; able to perform root cause and corrective action analysis & implementationEnsure processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirementsEnable data?driven decision making through SPC, KPIs, and process capability analysisTeam Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering and mechanic staff to support strong performance and growth.Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross functional teams to meet Delivery, Quality and Cost targets.Build strong cross?functional partnerships to align process improvements with production and business prioritiesTranslate technical issues into clear recommendations for leadershipDocumentation: Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.Education/ExperienceBachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering leadershipElectromechanical manufacturing a plus.Significant experience in manufacturing/process engineering with demonstrated leadership capabilityStrong background in process control, continuous improvement, and production supportExperience in regulated or high?reliability manufacturing environments preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills for cross?department collaboration and presenting findings. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management within the organization.Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for issues that arise when implementing new test methodsDesire to continually upgrade technical knowledge and keep up with current technical advances in the fieldExperience in maintaining manufacturing and test equipmentIn our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Must be a US Person or US citizen due to the nature of our work, i.e., access to technical data.
