Area Director of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts for Homewood Suites by Hilton Saratoga Springs , which will serve as the position’s primary hotel and home base . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue, grow market share, and build strong client relationships for the hotel. In addition to their primary responsibility for Homewood Suites by Hilton Saratoga Springs, this role will provide sales support to the Albany region in partnership with the Regional Director of Sales , assisting with regional sales initiatives, account development, and other identified sales needs. This position offers the opportunity to have a strong impact at the property level while also contributing to broader regional sales efforts. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. Maintain a strong presence in the Saratoga Springs, NY area through networking and community engagement. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a leadership role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel within the assigned area. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, paid weekly.
