In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.core responsibilitiesWork on architecture on our CRM codebase, tech debt backlog strategies, and define implementation patterns that will help our engineers develop features on their roadmaps. Lead foundational work that will be leveraged by multiple teams, and help craft our future roadmap and technical strategy using Salesforce CRM. Accountable for the codebases for our Guest Education Center (GEC) Technology team by owning the tech debt roadmap, and training for other engineers. Mentor Salesforce Engineers to elevate technical skills, including executing code reviews, and improving the overall code quality of submitted code. Train Engineers on development patterns, and enforce implementation strategies across all teams of our GEC Technology space. Act as a technical owner of the production system(s), focus on how product(s) are delivered and how to optimize them for efficiency, security and reliability. Define standards, implementation patterns, and be involved in Salesforce architecture in partnership with our stakeholder teams. Participate in code reviews, and code owner activities. Conduct research to aid in product development and tools selection. Act as an escalation point to our GEC Technology engineering team and for production emergencies. Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice for your product(s). Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems. Own reliability for a defined set of production systems. Create and define the tech debt roadmap.Telecommuting permitted up to 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m.qualificationsMust have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software application and development.Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):Working in contact centers, eCommerce, or Retail domains;Leading cross-functional teams of software engineers.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):Salesforce Service Cloud implementation;Salesforce (SFDC) Lightning experience with configurations and APEX development;Apex Scheduling;Code Optimizations;Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP, AIPs, Kafka,oAuth, and Single Sign-on;Integrating Salesforce with other applications using APIs from AppExchange;Salesforce security model;Bug tracking and task management using JIRA and Confluence.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in 3 or more of the following (which may be gained concurrently):Hands on customization using Apex;Visualforce pages/Lightning pages;Lightning Web Components;Data loaders;Salesforce Object Query Language( SOQL);Salesforce Object Search Language( SOSL).Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in Salesforce DX. Up to 10% Domestic & International travel are required, based on business needs.must haves• Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results. • Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same. • Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure. • Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. • Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously. additional notesAuthorization to work in the USA is required for this role. workplace arrangement This role is classified as HYBRID under our SSC Workplace policy:In-person collaboration and connection are important to our culture. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $221,000 - $235,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
