Job Duties The World Languages department is seeking qualified part‑time instructors to teach French. Teaching assignments may include any of the curriculum‑approved courses within the discipline of French. Minimum Qualifications A Master’s degree in the language being taught. A Bachelor’s degree in the language being taught AND a Master’s in another language or linguistics. A combination of education and experience that is at least equivalent to the qualifications in either 1) or 2). Applicants who do not possess the specific minimum qualifications must complete and attach the Application for Equivalency form ( ), which must be submitted before the application deadline. Degrees that have not been awarded at the time of submission are not eligible. Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered. Coursework and degrees completed outside the United States must have transcripts evaluated by an appropriate U.S. credentials evaluation service. Accepted evaluation agencies include the National Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (NACES) and the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE).
