Position Summary

We are seeking energetic and vibrant individuals to join our Front of the House team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all patrons feel welcomed, comfortable, and attended to during their visit to the club. Assists with setting tables, organizing the dining room, clearing, and resetting tables. Hours/ Shift available: 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks

• Warmly welcome members and guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure that they are promptly attended to by the waitstaff.
• Manage reservations effectively, ensuring that tables are allocated efficiently and that members' preferences are taken into account.
• Maintain clear and friendly communication with members and guests, providing information about menu specials, events, and club amenities.
• Handle any complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, striving to resolve them to the satisfaction of the member or guest.
• Work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow, coordinating seating and table turnover effectively.
• Ensure that the dining area and lobby maintain a clean, organized, and inviting ambiance throughout service hours.
• Understand and adhere to the etiquette and protocol expected in a private club setting, providing exemplary service in line with the club's standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members, including servers, bartenders, and management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Properly record To Go orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand.
• Helping with other positions in areas as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. The team member is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Adaptability to a noisy environment a must.
