Shift: 4PM to 12:30AM; Pay: $19.50/hr., 3 Months Contract W2 to Full Time Employment($20.38), Increment for every 6 Months

We are seeking a Switchboard Assembler to build and modify electromechanical equipment including switchboards and lighting panels. The role requires hands-on assembly using hand tools , power tools , and blueprints while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards. Candidates will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting production schedules and customer requirements. Responsibilities:

• Assemble switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and assembly techniques
• Interpret blueprints , bill of materials (BOM) , and one-line diagrams
• Operate hand tools , power tools , and measuring instruments
• Process and track work orders using computer systems and scanning devices
• Perform wiring, cable connections, and component installation
• Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or documentation issues
• Disassemble and rework units as required
• Prepare finished products for shipment including packing and labeling
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of blueprint reading , mechanical assembly , and electromechanical systems
• Proficiency with hand tools , power tools , and measuring tools
• Basic computer skills for work order processing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, climbing)
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to quality and safety protocols
• Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation
