- Resource/Inclusion Teacher for 3rd-5th Grades
- Resource/Inclusion Teacher for 6th-8th Grades
- Self-Contained Classroom Teacher in elementary, specializing in working with students with significant autism support needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged children in special education settings
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional practices for students with a range of disabilities, including significant autism
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with educators, support staff, and families
- Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans following student IEPs
- Deliver both one-on-one and group instruction within resource, inclusion, or self-contained classrooms
- Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families to support student success
- Track progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
- Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment that encourages independence and confidence
- Support students with behavioral and social skills development
