Key Qualifications:
- Active teaching license with Adapted Curriculum endorsement (strict requirement—no exceptions).
- Strong experience supporting students in separate school or similar settings.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction and interventions.
- Desire and background in working with either middle or high school students (please highlight your preference and experience).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instructional and behavioral support to students following an adapted curriculum in a public separate school.
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Foster a positive, structured classroom environment designed for student growth and success.
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to address evolving needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation complying with school and state requirements.
- Collaborate regularly with instructional staff, administrators, and families for optimal student outcomes.
