Physical Therapist Float
MedStar Health Corporate Office
MedStar Health seeks a Physical Therapist Float to provide high-quality rehabilitative care across multiple hospital and outpatient locations in the Maryland-Washington, DC region. In this role, you will evaluate and treat diverse adult and geriatric patient populations with musculoskeletal, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, documenting in the EMR, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals. As a float PT, you will adapt quickly to different units and teams while supporting safe patient mobility, functional independence, and discharge planning. MedStar offers a patient-first, mission-driven culture with robust clinical resources, ongoing education, mentorship, and clear pathways for professional growth within a large not-for-profit health system committed to innovation and community care.
