Job Title Clinical Specialist – MedTech Sales (Commission) Location Dayton, Ohio, United States Job Overview Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Specialist to cover the Central Territory (OH, KY west PA, WV, southern IN). The role focuses on providing expert clinical and technical support for MONARCH products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, driving usage, and creating business opportunities. Core Job Responsibilities Report to the Regional Sales Manager and provide in‑case procedural support and education for MONARCH during procedures. Serve as a technical consultant, offering safe and effective progression of learning curves. Plan and schedule case support, maximizing customer capability. Maintain expert knowledge of commercial MONARCH products and provide training and technical information. Use consultative selling to identify sales opportunities and facilitate contact with decision makers. Share best practices with field sales, service teams, and internal partners. Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital administrators, creating clinical champions. Keep up to date on IFU, best practices, troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product info. Maintain composure during stressful interactions and engage in diagnostic dialogue with stakeholders. Respond to daily emails and voicemails from customers and partners. Perform administrative tasks including account documentation, compliance training, expense reporting, and system input. Collaborate with peers to share best practices for customer value. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or healthcare. Ability to work in all hospital departments, including the operating room environment. Travel 50% – 75% within the designated territory. Valid driver’s license in the United States. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated base pay range: $69,000.00 – $110,400.00.
