TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years, with at least 1 travel assignment License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Meditech experience Description: Unit requires adherence to a 75-mile radius rule. The driver's license address must be provided for consideration. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, including one travel assignment. Candidates must have Meditech experience. All travelers must hold current certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI. The department sees approximately 180-200 patients per day. There is a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4. Central monitoring techs will be present. Respiratory therapists are on-site 24/7. Nurses are responsible for IV starts. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Common patient diagnoses range from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma cases. The facility is a CVA center and retains some trauma and orthopedic cases. No burn cases are kept on-site. Weekend and holiday shifts are required every other weekend and every other holiday. All staff must wear Caribbean blue scrubs. Charting is conducted using Meditech. Completion of the orientation requirements during the first week of employment is mandatory.
