Maintenance Technician – Distribution & Warehouse Equipment

Dallas, TX | $30.00/hour | Full-Time

Micone Staffing Resources is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced distribution and warehouse operation in Dallas, Texas. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping forklifts, material-handling equipment, conveyors, pick systems, machinery, and facility equipment operating safely and reliably.

We're looking for a strong troubleshooter — someone who can identify a problem, determine the right corrective action, and get equipment back into operation while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs and corrective actions

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material-handling equipment

• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, pick carousels, and related warehouse equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime

• Inspect equipment for potential mechanical or safety issues

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests

• Complete general facility maintenance and repairs as needed

• Support the upkeep of interior and exterior facility areas

• Safely use tools, equipment, and required personal protective equipment

• Communicate equipment issues and repair needs with management and operations teams

• Coordinate professionally with employees, vendors, and other business contacts

• Provide functional guidance to junior maintenance technicians when requested

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Perform additional maintenance responsibilities as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment

• Forklift and material-handling equipment maintenance experience strongly preferred

• Conveyor system or automated warehouse equipment experience preferred

• Preventative maintenance experience

• Ability to independently evaluate equipment problems and determine appropriate corrective action

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Safety-focused approach to every repair and maintenance task

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and remain physically active throughout the workday

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily in an active warehouse and distribution environment. Technicians may be exposed to changing temperatures, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, moving machinery, and other conditions commonly associated with industrial facilities.

Some responsibilities may require occasional outdoor work.

Required personal protective equipment and established safety procedures must be followed at all times.
