DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Casework Supervisor, you will be providing a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families. Work involves supervising four to six caseworkers in the Intake Unit, conducting performance evaluations, as well as monitoring staff to ensure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for the daily hands-on operation of the Intake Unit in absence of the caseworkers and carrying a direct service caseload. Additional duties include:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Casework Supervisor, you will be providing a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families. Work involves supervising four to six caseworkers in the Intake Unit, conducting performance evaluations, as well as monitoring staff to ensure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for the daily hands-on operation of the Intake Unit in absence of the caseworkers and carrying a direct service caseload. Additional duties include:
- Providing training for new and existing caseworkers
- Developing Intake Unit policies on an on-going basis
- Evaluating and recommending changes to procedures
- Contributing to the development of the annual plan
- Collecting data and statistics
- Analyzing and preparing written documentation for review by supervisory and administrative personnel
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- On-call 24/7 on a rotating basis. Irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
