Independently lead complex analyses and assigned workstreams, delivering actionable insights across U.S. GAAP, statutory, capital, and management reporting while improving Finance processes, data quality, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities.Collaborate with FP&A, Actuarial, Capital Management, Investments, Technology, and business partners to execute Finance priorities. Apply modern finance platforms, AWS-based data solutions, Power BI, and other analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency, strengthen data governance, and support informed decision-making.Job Description Responsibilities:Business Analysis & ControlsAnalyze financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, management reporting, and performance metrics to support planning, resource allocation, and business decisions.Maintain effective financial controls, governance, documentation, and compliance processes; identify and resolve data or reporting issues.Identify and implement process, automation, and reporting improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and transparency.Serve as a subject-matter resource for financial data, reporting tools, analytical methods, and FP&A processes.FP&A TransformationContribute to Finance process engineering initiatives that simplify, standardize, and automate planning, forecasting, management reporting, and performance management.Assess end-to-end workflows, document requirements, and recommend solutions that reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve scalability.Coordinate assigned transformation workstreams and partner with Technology, Data, Actuarial, and Operations through design, testing, implementation, and adoption.Partner with data and technology teams to develop and support Finance data solutions, including cloud-based repositories, AWS data lake environments, and integrated reporting architectures.Develop and maintain scalable financial data models that support consistent planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and performance management.Support data governance, lineage, reconciliation, and quality standards to improve reporting reliability and decision-making.Develop executive dashboards, management reporting, and self-service analytics using Power BI and other data visualization tools.Translate complex financial and operational data into clear dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics for senior leaders and business partners.Promote effective use of data visualization, automation, and advanced reporting solutions to expand business insight and shorten reporting cycle times.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experienceTen years of financial analysis experience, including work in the insurance, financial services or investment management industryExpert knowledge of accounting/financeAnalytical and problem solving skillsStrategic thinker able to communicate on business/market and legislative issues at a macro levelOrganizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to make timely decisions using the appropriate informationExcellent written/oral communication and presentation skills to provide complex information to diverse audiencesAdvanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel and financial business systemsPreferred Qualifications:CPA/advanced degreeExtensive knowledge of assigned business area (e.g. investments, premiums, IFRS, Statutory Accounting)Working Conditions:Hybrid (In Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays)The Salary for this position generally ranges between $128,000 - $170,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
