Position Summary

The HVAC Installer Helper assists lead installers with the installation of residential heating and cooling systems. This position is ideal for an individual who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and enjoys hands-on work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment
• Help install and modify ductwork systems
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare job sites and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Assist with removing and replacing existing HVAC systems
• Follow installation procedures and safety guidelines
• Support lead installers in testing and verifying system performance
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience in construction, HVAC, maintenance, plumbing, or other skilled trades is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver's license preferred
