Business Systems AnalystLocation: Newport Beach, CAOnsite: 4 Days per weekRate: $60-66 an hourAt this time, Apex is not able to consider candidates for this role who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. In this role, you will gather and analyze requirements, support Agile development teams, facilitate solution design, and help deliver high-quality digital products and web applications.ResponsibilitiesPartner with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs, prioritize work, and clarify business needs.Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.Support Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, releases, and retrospectives.Assist with scope definition, effort estimation, and project tracking.Coordinate testing, user acceptance activities, and production releases.Troubleshoot issues and serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.Support the development and enhancement of public-facing websites and web applications.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of Business Systems Analysis or Systems Analysis experience.Experience supporting public-facing websites and web application development.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements gathering skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for business audiences.Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews.Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and PostgreSQL.Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsScrum Master or Product Owner certification.Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, or related regulated industries.Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and digital transformation initiatives.Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration.Growth mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, detail-oriented analyst who enjoys translating business needs into effective technology solutions while working closely with both stakeholders and development teams.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
