MSAT Scientist III

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an MSAT Scientist III to lead technology transfer and manufacturing process development for injectable pharmaceutical products. The role involves designing scalable formulations, managing technical projects from clinical through commercial stages, and serving as a subject matter expert in a GMP-regulated sterile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer activities and manufacturing process development for injectables to commercial production lines
• Design, implement, and evaluate studies for formulation processes, scale-up, and process validation batches
• Provide technical expertise for problem-solving, investigations, CAPAs, and change control assessments
• Prepare documentation including protocols, work orders, reports, and technical justifications with minimal supervision
• Support manufacturing operations as subject matter expert and lead technical discussions with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related physical science
• 3+ years of confirmed work experience post-degree
• Detailed knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scientific methodology
• Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills for internal and external communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop technical solutions
• CMO or pharmaceutical product development experience preferred
