We are seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Process Consultant to join our organization on a full-time contract basis. The Process Consultant will work closely with business and operational teams to evaluate existing processes, uncover performance gaps, and develop streamlined solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, service quality, and organizational performance.

The successful candidate will bring a structured approach to process analysis and business improvement, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into practical recommendations. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, documentation skills, and the ability to support process changes from assessment through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate business operations and workflows to determine how effectively processes support organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed reviews of existing procedures, policies, systems, and operational practices.
• Gather information from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, observations, surveys, and requirements sessions.
• Develop detailed assessments of current processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and improvement.
• Design future-state processes that improve productivity, service delivery, quality, and operational control.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, business requirements, procedure documents, and supporting materials.
• Identify process duplication, manual activities, delays, control weaknesses, and other operational inefficiencies.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and develop recommendations to address recurring process and performance issues.
• Work with business and technology teams to evaluate opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
• Assist in defining functional requirements for workflow, automation, and business-system enhancements.
• Facilitate process improvement meetings and workshops with business owners, managers, and subject-matter experts.
• Develop implementation plans and support teams during the transition to redesigned processes.
• Establish process metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Review performance data and operational reports to identify trends, risks, and additional improvement opportunities.
• Develop business cases and cost-benefit assessments for proposed process changes.
• Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, operating models, and process standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure process requirements are incorporated into new systems and initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance activities, process testing, training materials, and implementation readiness.
• Monitor newly implemented processes and recommend adjustments based on business feedback and performance results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, decisions, requirements, and improvement activities.
• Ensure process recommendations align with organizational policies, governance requirements, controls, and applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in process consulting, business process analysis, operations, business transformation, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and redesigning business processes and operational workflows.
• Strong knowledge of process mapping, requirements analysis, workflow documentation, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Ability to analyze operational data and use findings to develop practical business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of root-cause analysis, process controls, performance measurement, and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
• Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, process reviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Strong project organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, or comparable business and process-mapping applications.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Agile, or other process improvement frameworks is beneficial.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, workflow automation, business intelligence, or enterprise technology platforms is a plus.
• Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma, BPM, CBAP, PMP, or a related discipline is preferred.

Compensation & Contract Details

Annual Contract Rate: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, consulting expertise, and scope of responsibility.

Employment Type: Full-time Contract.

Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Contract Term: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on organizational needs, project requirements, and performance.

Work Arrangement: Remote or hybrid, depending on organizational and project requirements.
