CNC Maintenance Technician - Grand RapidsWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift from 5:30 pm to 5:30 am, Monday through Thursday. This role involves performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production CNC machines and the plant facility's equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production CNC machines and the plant facility's equipment.Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to production CNC equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.Execute simple machinist duties and responsibilities.Exhibit mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of production CNC machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work tasks to perform required maintenance services.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.Conduct a variety of plumbing, fabrication, maintenance, and carpentry functions.Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric Multimeters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.Perform heavy manual labor.Operate Hilo and Aerial lift.Maintain continuity among team members by documenting and communicating daily tasks.Operate and navigate skills on a computer system.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingMaintenance technician skillsHydraulicsPneumaticsRepairPreventive maintenanceElectricalElectrical troubleshootingPLC troubleshootingAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experienceBlueprint readingKnowledge of pneumaticsWhy Work Here?Join a dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment.
