Job Duties Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email and in person. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral equipment. Assist with setting up and supporting audio/visual equipment for meetings or presentations. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system. Assist with inventory tracking of IT equipment and supplies. Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or IT management as needed. Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security protocol. Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues. Assist in the administration of the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and basic settings. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Perform basic print server administration and maintenance tasks. Assist in the administration and maintenance of Active Directory user accounts, groups, and computers. Execute basic VoIP setup and configuration procedures. Education An associate degree in a related field or a comparable qualification is required. Experience will be considered in lieu of education. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum of one year of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role. Experience gained through internships, apprenticeships, part-time roles, volunteer work or academic projects is acceptable. Basic understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Awareness of cybersecurity best practices, including data protection and safe internet usage. Basic knowledge of a ticketing system. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
