The DNA Group is seeking a Software Asset & O365 License Manager. In this role, you will manage our client’s software asset management environment, Microsoft licensing agreements, O365 license entitlements, Azure subscriptions, and software compliance initiatives. You will work closely with vendors, agency stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure software assets are properly tracked, licensed, optimized, and aligned with business and financial objectives.

Overview Requirements :

• Manage Microsoft software licensing agreements, O365 subscriptions, Azure subscriptions, and Software Assurance benefits
• Analyze purchase records, contracts, EULAs, enterprise agreements, and licensing entitlements
• Maintain software compliance and reduce legal and financial licensing risks
• Lead software asset management (SAM) lifecycle activities including planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, and retirement
• Conduct software license reconciliation and present Final License Position reports
• Collaborate with Vendor Managers, Product Owners, Application Managers, and Engineers regarding software assets
• Manage software licensing records and ensure alignment with hardware and software inventories
• Support Microsoft SAM engagements, true-up activities, and compliance reviews
• Process software-related requests, upgrades, changes, and renewals across DC agencies
• Develop and maintain software asset management procedures, documentation, and SOPs
• Manage software licensing activities within ServiceNow
• Support IT asset management (ITAM) project initiatives and reporting requirements
• Track software utilization, licensing costs, contract renewals, and agency consumption metrics
• Support Adobe and similar enterprise licensing consolidation and optimization efforts
• Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding software licensing strategy and compliance

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of software asset management principles and licensing compliance
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft licensing structures and subscription models
• Experience managing Microsoft Enterprise Agreements, O365 licensing, and Azure subscriptions
• Experience interpreting software licensing terms, conditions, and use rights
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with ServiceNow software asset management solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and executive stakeholders

• Software Licensing Terms and Conditions Interpretation: 4 years (Required)
• Microsoft SAM Engagement and True-Up Process Experience: 4 years (Required)
