Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. Candidates must have cardiovascular or general surgery experience. This position requires three 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15. Weekend call is required on a schedule of 1 day of call per week. 1-2 weekend calls should be scheduled every 4-5 weeks. The average daily case census is 22. Proficiency in the following skills is mandatory: Vascular surgeries including AV fistulas, aortic surgeries, carotids, and embolectomies. Orthopedic surgeries including arthroscopies and total joint replacements. General surgeries including colorectal resections and laparoscopic procedures. ENT procedures such as tracheostomies and laryngectomies. Urology procedures including cystectomies and nephrectomies. Robotic surgeries including gynecologic and colorectal procedures. GYN surgeries including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to respond to on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time. This role promotes teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be expected to adhere to all protocols and safety standards during surgical procedures.
