Key Responsibilities

Transmission Diagnostics Perform accurate drivability and transmission diagnostics using Ford-approved tools and technology.
Repairs & Replacements Repair or replace transmission components including gears, clutches, torque converters, and fluid systems.
Preventative Maintenance Conduct inspections, fluid services, and performance checks to maximize vehicle reliability.
Documentation Record all work performed, parts used, and recommendations for warranty and customer records.
Team Collaboration Partner with service advisors, fellow technicians, and the parts team to ensure smooth, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Certified Technician Completion of accredited automotive technician program required; Ford or OEM-specific training highly preferred.
Hands-On Experience Proven experience with heavy-duty transmission work (Ford experience strongly preferred).
Diagnostic Expertise Skilled in using scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify drivability and performance issues.
Attention to Detail Committed to precision, safety, and quality repairs.
Strong Communicator Clear written and verbal communication with both customers and teammates.
