Planning Manager

We’re hiring a Planning Manager to own both day‑to‑day and long‑term maintenance planning for a fleet-based operation. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, improving availability, and aligning priorities across multiple teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own day-to-day maintenance planning, including reviewing program requirements, deferred items, and building daily maintenance plans for each station
• Develop long-term maintenance strategies for major events (e.g., landing gear replacements on ~12-year cycles)
• Combine and sequence work to reduce downtime and maximize fleet availability
• Communicate plans, constraints, and priorities across Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Act as the central coordination point to keep maintenance execution aligned and on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in maintenance planning or a strong operational environment
• Backgrounds we’re open to include:
• Airline or aviation maintenance
• Military aviation
• Fleet maintenance (trucking, motors, heavy equipment, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance short-term needs and long-term strategy
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with multiple stakeholder groups
