The primary goal of a Reliability Engineer is to ensure that products meet both safety and performance standards throughout their lifecycle, from design through production to end use. They will develop the necessary work instructions, checklists, and other quality documents, including, but not limited to, inspection test plans. They use data driven methods, risk assessments, and industry best practices to optimize system reliability, perform root cause analysis, and establish maintenance schedules to maximize asset uptime. This role typically involves collaboration with cross functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and maintenance departments, to ensure reliability is integrated into all phases of the product lifecycle.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")Design and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP's), Work Instructions, to sustain the Quality Management System.Design and implement reliability testing and monitoring procedures.Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs, supporting the re powering manager.Analyze product performance (Internal and External) data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Conduct reliability analysis and risk assessments.Provide training to team members and other departments on reliability practices, tools, and methodologies to raise awareness and foster a culture of reliability across the organization.Identify opportunities for system upgrades or modifications to improve reliability, working with engineering teams to implement changes that enhance product longevity and performance.Perform internal and supplier audits, providing recommendations for continual improvement.QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTSMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).Daily in person, predictable attendance.Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.Proficiency in spoken English language.Ability to travel based on business needs.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVELHigh School diploma or GED required.
