Must-Have: Siemens Scanner (Model Name is the FORCE) experience is a must.

Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation. Weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No weekend RTO is allowed. The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Final confirmation of the start date will be provided the Tuesday prior to the start week. Skills required include inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and CT procedure experience such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. Additional preferred skills include outpatient experience, IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration. Typical caseload is between 150 to 200 scans daily across 4 rooms. The unit will accept first-time travelers and local candidates. Patient demographics include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role is located in the emergency department performing routine ED procedures, Code Stroke, and some trauma. The environment is fast-paced, with staff ratios typically being 4-5 techs on the first shift, 2-3 on the second shift, and 1 on the third shift. Weekend coverage usually consists of 2 techs. Scrubs required are royal blue. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per the job description.
