Temp Assignment Based Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

What We Offer This position is a Temp Assignment Based CT Tech for up to a maximum of 9 months. Temp Assignment Based CT techs are experienced, proficient technologists within their specialty responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. These CT techs are temporarily assigned to one unit for a designated number of weeks based on needs of the system. These CT techs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in any Novant Health location. The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans. Maintaining a safe patient environment in accordance with the principle of “First Do No Harm.” What We're Looking For Education: 2-year Associate Degree preferred. Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or a graduate of an ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required. Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred. Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) at time of hire. Certification in CT within 6 months required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) required. NH Medical Group Office - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) required. IV Credentialed, required.
