This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis & ModelingDevelop and maintain detailed financial models supporting business performanceBuild tools, projections and scenario analyses to evaluate business risk and future outlooksIsolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and assess implications of operational changesAnalytics & Insight GenerationAnalyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesConduct sensitivity and trade off analysis tied to core business leversSupport the creation of insight-led narratives that connect financial outcomes to operational driversMove beyond descriptive reporting by proactively diagnosing issues and surfacing potential corrective actionsTool & Framework DevelopmentBuild, enhance, and maintain analytical tools, templates, and dashboards to support repeatable decision supportImprove data usability, documentation, and analytical efficiencyPartner with peers and leaders to evolve analytical frameworks over timeBusiness & Stakeholder PartnershipCollaborate with Product, Claims, and/or other cross-functional partners to understand business context and decisions needsSupport presentations and readouts by translating analyses into clear, decision-ready materialsRespond to ad hoc analytical requests with speed, accuracy, and thoughtful interpretationExecution & Operational ExcellenceDeliver accurate, timely analyses and reporting to support business decision-makingManage moderately complex analytical projects addressing ambiguous business questionsBalance multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of analytical rigorQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or relative quantitative field is preferred3+ years of full-time relevant work experience in the USProficiency with Microsoft ToolsKnowledge in SQL and Power BI preferred, but not requiredAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven recommendationsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal & written communication skillsLocation:This position is a hybrid role. It is required to be on-site 3 days per week, at one of the following office locations:Chicago, ILBethesda, MDAnnual Salary$86,100.00 - $141,450.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
