Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer I is responsible for handling service requests and incidents escalated from Tier 1 Support, covering printers, workstations, servers, and vendor hardware. Responsibilities IT support for customers using Microsoft operating systems and applications. Patch management for workstations. Virus and malware detection and removal. Basic server administration. Remote and onsite workstation troubleshooting. Communicate with clients and co‑workers, updating tickets immediately with progress and next steps. Maintain documentation and configuration up to date. Perform all other duties as requested, including assisting co‑workers and urgent service requests. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong teamwork ability. Sound judgment to know when to elevate issues to management. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changes and multi‑task. Competitive, high‑achieving attitude with persistence. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for Windows 7 and Windows 8. Remote work possible after training. Work Type: Full‑time (full‑time). Competitive wages starting at $50,000, with compensation based on experience. Hours: 40 hours per week, with additional time as required. Engineers participate in a one‑week on‑call rotation with a bonus each week. Optional 4–10‑hour days after training. Travel is required.
