Lead Financial Analyst - EP R&D

Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices

Lead Financial Analyst supporting Electrophysiology R&D operations at Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division in Irvine, California. This role oversees financial reporting, budget management, and forecasting for product development while supervising a team and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead financial planning and analysis for US Product Development and Scientific Affairs including forecasting and capital planning
Advise R&D leaders and project managers on financial decisions and operational priorities
Track actual results against plans, identify risks, and communicate insights to executive management
Supervise, coach, and develop team members while improving efficiency through process standardization
Monitor SOX compliance and support ad hoc financial initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum 4 years of finance, accounting, or related business experience
Demonstrated leadership experience with track record of developing talent
Master's degree or MBA preferred
MedTech industry experience preferred
Proficiency with Anaplan or similar financial planning tools preferred
CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications a plus

Compensation: $94,000 - $151,800 base
