About the Agency The Mississippi Division of Medicaid responsibly provides access to quality health coverage for vulnerable Mississippians. Medicaid provides health coverage for eligible, low-income populations in Mississippi. These populations include children, low-income families, pregnant women, the aged and disabled. About the Position This Program Specialist III is responsible for: collecting and maintaining data and information from mental health providers, reviewing and analyzing program utilization trends, provide support to providers for claims issues, and general administrative support. What you'll need to be Successful Background in Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Teams, and Smartsheet will be helpful. Knowledge of claims processing and program evaluation will also be beneficial. This position will need to demonstrate a strong skill set in data collection and policy development for new and existing program areas for the Office of Mental Health within Health-Related Programs and Benefits.
