Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Salary: Based on experience Position Type: Direct Hire Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems within a manufacturing environment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a regulated manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility/building systems Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to established schedules Replace worn or defective parts and ensure equipment operates efficiently Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper operation Identify recurring equipment malfunctions and communicate recommended corrective actions to supervisors Perform basic three-phase electrical troubleshooting Utilize mechanical skills, including basic machine shop and welding skills when required Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies Maintain compliance with applicable GMP and regulatory requirements Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma required 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician preferred Experience in a pharmaceutical or solid dosage manufacturing environment preferred Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferred Facility maintenance background is a plus Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Basic knowledge of three-phase electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational equipment issues Basic machine shop and welding skills preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong math and reading comprehension skills Verbal and written English communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary Ability to lift equipment parts and tools as required Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
