Pediatric Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide outpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric populations, particularly those with developmental delays, torticollis, and cerebral palsy. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions to help patients achieve their developmental milestones and rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions and support using appropriate adaptive equipment and techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and progress using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
• Current California Physical Therapist license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with outpatient settings and medical-based physical therapy is essential.
