Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 8 students with mild to moderate needs, working collaboratively with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans. Qualifications:

• Valid and active California teaching credentials in Special Education (required)
• Experience working with high school students, preferably in a special education setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to foster a positive learning environment while maintaining high expectations
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Create a classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusion, growth, and respect

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
